Sri Bhagavan Swamy Ramananda Yogi Chandrulu was born on 22 February 1968 to Muni Swami and Gurramma in Mellacheruvu Village near Pileru in Andhra Pradesh.
He has one elder brother Munikrishna Murthy along with three sisters.
Sri Bhagavan Swamy Ramananda Yogi Chandrulu experienced spiritual ecstasies from a young age and was influenced by several religious traditions, including devotion. Sri Bhagavan Swamy Ramananda Yogi Chandrulu was inclined towards spirituality.
He was influenced by his guru, Sri Kesavananda Yogi Chandrulu varu, from whom he learned that all living beings were an embodiment of the divine self; therefore, service to God could be rendered by service to humankind.
In 1988 swami Ramana yogi met the master “Sri Jagadguru Kesawananda swami” and he has taken initiation on 2nd January 1988.
He was unique from other devotees both in terms of practicing meditation and expressing his unconditional love and
devotion towards the master. Swamiji thought that it was his boon to serve the master. The moment he received initiation;
he was always chanting the mantra in his mind. In the day time he will be doing the household chores and farming, and Swamiji
thought that each and every moment was precious and irrevocable. Swamiji will be practicing the meditation at all the times even
though he was doing other chores. He believes that meditation is not just sitting in Padmasana and controlling the breath,
but he believes that meditation is visualizing the god in all the activities and all the things in universe.
In 2001, exactly after 3 years of initiation, he started “Mouna vratam” (Vow of silence) under the scared fig.
Practicing Mouna will acts as a catalyst to find the self which is “Brahman”. In India, there were so many yogis
and Rishis who practiced the “Mounam” for so many decades. Swamiji thought that Mounam will be helpful in communicating
to the god. When the external communication is withdrawn, then the internal communication builds up with oneself and gradually
it will reveal the omnipotent god behind the universe. Swamiji continued the vow of silence up to 2010. Swamiji will be practicing
the meditation in Padmasana from morning to night after his regular activities. After that Swamiji experienced the bliss and self,
through which he realized the power of god and the purpose of the life. In 2011, Swamiji started the construction of Naimisharanya
A person with good thoughts will do promise, but people with good humanity will stand on his promises.
